Our Team
Adam Hennesey
Designer, Artist, Fabricator
Adam brings extensive experience from his prior ventures in fabrication and manufacturing. Before joining MechaFab, he owned and operated Rennesy Fabrication, a custom fab shop known for its precision and quality. Prior to that, Adam ran R347 Motorsports, specializing in safety equipment for racing and custom fabrication for Porsche and BMW. He also undertook custom car work as a side project. Adam holds a private pilot’s license from Schenectady Community College, reflecting his diverse skill set and passion for engineering and aviation.
His expertise resides in design, fabrication, machining, mechanical artistry, and manufacturing.
Austin Rivera
Engineer, Operator, Biz Dev
Austin started his career as a product design engineer after attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has honed his skills through various engineering and leadership roles across multiple companies. Before joining MechaFab, he was a Product Manager for a large HVAC manufacturer and prior to that, he was the CTO of a hardware startup, where he successfully brought a product from concept to commercialization, achieving over $1M in revenue within one year. In addition to his professional achievements, Austin is a pilot in the NY Air National Guard, flying LC-130H aircraft.
His expertise resides in product design, engineering, product management, supply chain sourcing, DFM, manufacturing, business development, and patent strategy.
